7. How many cases have been decided by the NCBC?

The Commission has decided and tendered its advice in 1123 cases which inter-alia include cases pertaining to castes, sub-castes, synonyms, communities and spelling errors. Of these 675 cases were for inclusion in the Central List and the remaining 448 cases were for rejection of requests.
