1.How to approach the Commission for Inclusion or complaint of Under-Inclusion or Over-Inclusion of caste/community in the Central List of OBCs?


According to the procedure adopted by the Commission, requests for Inclusion or complaint of Under-Inclusion or Over-Inclusion can be made to the Commission by :

  1. Any individual
  2. Any organization/association, or
  3. Any State Government/Union Territory

The Commission examines the requests/complaints made in respect of each caste/sub-caste/synonym/community on the basis of data/information received. For this purpose, the Commission has devised a Questionnaire to elicit data/information in respect of the caste/community under consideration from the request-maker to facilitate processing of request.
